Andy Turner

Andy provides executive counsel with a focus on stakeholder communications management and has more than two decades of experience. A British national based in France since 2006, he has worked internationally with organisations of all sizes, from technology start-ups to major multi-nationals.

Andy began working life as a mechanical engineer apprentice, before switching tack into marketing at one of the UK's largest private companies. He went on to achieve professional qualifications in Marketing, Public Relations, Media, and Research & Behavioural Studies from the CAM Foundation, part of the UK's Chartered Institute of Marketing. He also co-founded and ran a specialist B2B public relations consultancy in London.

Today, Andy helps businesses to articulate, explain and compellingly describe what they do, and how they do it; the end goals being understanding, acceptance and advocacy. Corporate story-telling is a speciality. As might be expected, he is an accomplished writer himself, having ghost-written for a myriad of trade, technical and business media; everything from niche, regional business journals to the Financial Times and The World Economic Forum's magazine.

Andy's insights on writing and working abroad appear in two recently published books: Commercial Writing: How to Earn a Living as a Business Writer, a Hale Expert Series Guide; and The Guardian (newspaper) Guide to Living and Working Abroad.
