Atul Patil

Atul has built up experience operating in multiple roles for engineering businesses. He started his career executing foreign collaborations, new technology developments and transfers, JV formation and consulting services. He has contributed extensively in the areas of design, analysis and the development of high technology products for global OEMs.

In a service provider role he recently helped a series of global customers grow successfully. He contributed to market research in both India and at a global level. He also interacted closely with analysts of various global consulting organisations including McKinsey & Company, Booz & Company, Frost & Sullivan, Forrester Research and ValueNotes.

Atul is a results oriented senior executive with a proven record of building offshore engineering teams and businesses based on sound strategic analysis, leadership and team building skills. He brings to the table nearly 22 years of professional experience, a good portion of which is focused on product design, technology development, global delivery, engineering leadership, project management, quality control, business development and client relationship management.

Atul has worked in Pune, India on product design, technical review, project management and project execution aspects of FE modelling and analyses of automobile components and other structural components in Bajaj Auto Ltd, General Electric, Onward Tech and Tata Technologies.

Atul holds a Masters in Science degree in mechanical engineering from the college of engineering, Pune; Masters in Automobile Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK; and a Masters from the Canadian School of Management and Institutes of Graduate studies, Manitoba and Iowa. The four years for the Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering was from the Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, (VRCE) (1986).
