Chris Long

Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 at the age of 23, and after a year in practice joined EC full-time in 1982. Having initially worked on the Finance side of the business, Chris soon became involved in running a number of high profile client projects including distribution of the TSB, British Gas and BP flotation material as well as heading up the teams running EC's long-term client relationships.

Appointed to the position of Managing Director in 1990, Chris has overseen the development of the business from its handling house offering through to the current proposition as a leading information logistics and delivery solutions provider.

Chris leads a team of experienced senior managers through whom his drive, enthusiasm and meticulous attention to detail are channelled to deliver the service excellence and operational integrity for which the company is renowned.

He retains significant involvement in new business development and in client activity as Account Director in a number of major accounts in both the public and private sectors.
