As a communications consultant, Jennie Jewell works at a strategic level, helping companies assess their entire position, both internally and externally, and then developing a comprehensive communications strategy that will ensure they are well placed to achieve their objectives.
Being able to relate to people and understand their perspective is one of Jennie's strengths, and she uses this aptitude to help organisations understand that they are only ever going to be as good on the outside as they are on the inside. People are a company's greatest asset and she believes that this is where marketing starts.
Jennie has been the group marketing manager for Itex Technology, a Channel Islands-based technology services company. She had full responsibility for all internal and external communications, PR, brand management and the company's partnership relationships with IBM, DELL, Compaq and Microsoft, among others. She also worked for The Royal Bank of Scotland International, for two years in change management running internal communications and for three in retail marketing as international campaign manager. Jennie worked for fiduciary services provider Walbrook Group, as senior marketing manager, and more recently for Barclays Wealth.
She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a member of the Professional Services Marketing Group.
