Finn Jackson

Finn Jackson was educated at Trinity College Oxford and has a first class MBA from Imperial College, London.

His corporate experience ranges from simulation of anti-submarine warfare, through strategy consulting, to the design and implementation of strategic change in a global technology company.

The common thread linking these different roles is Finn's ability as a systems thinker. He focuses on how the different parts of any situation link to one another, and how strategic aims connect to practical operational details.

His 2004 book, The Escher Cycle , applied this thinking to the whole of business. It asked "What are the basic activities that any business has to be good at in order to succeed?" The result has been called "The only top to bottom account of business strategy and operations" and "A blueprint for winning any game your business chooses to play."

Finn has since used this thinking to help clients develop new service lines, build websites, create strategies, and train managers. He is also a co-founder of Azudoo.

Past clients describe him as "a rare, truly innovative person with the ability to cut directly to the heart of the matter, combining thought leadership with a rapid return on investment." They also "very much enjoyed working with Finn and have found him to be one of the wisest and most incisive people we have met in business."

Finn plays blues trumpet, and has recently started keeping chickens.
