AI is reshaping the B2B buying journey
B2B buying is increasingly mediated by AI. Buyers use it to research markets, discover options and narrow down potential vendors before they speak to a seller. That changes the path to consideration. Instead of encountering a brand through advertising alone, buyers may receive recommendations based on the information AI can find across reviews, analyst reports and forum conversations.
This makes the connection between buyer and seller more indirect, but not less important. AI queries can be detailed, often focused on a specific problem a business needs to solve. Brands need to be relevant to that real intent, not simply visible at the top of the funnel. Being well known is useful, but being clearly understood and credibly recommended is becoming just as important.
