B2B buyers are people first
Emotional B2B marketing uses empathy and human-centred storytelling to connect with the people behind business decisions. It does not mean ignoring budget, reputation, capacity or strategy. It means recognising that these decisions are still made by people with pressures, priorities and real-world worries.
The old B2B habit was to present features and benefits as if audiences were machines waiting for the right button to be pressed. That approach misses the point. A buyer may be assessing a high-stakes purchase, trying to align a buying group or worrying about the consequences of recommending the wrong supplier. They need relevance, but they also want the confidence that a brand understands their challenge.
The sweet spot sits between education and inspiration. Know the subject deeply, explain it clearly, then give people a reason to care. Warm, human communication is not a distraction from commercial value. It is part of how that value becomes memorable.
