What makes a customer success story credible?

A credible customer success story stays faithful to the people involved and clearly connects their experience, your contribution and the resulting impact. Firsthand accounts give substance to the story by showing why people acted, how the partnership helped and what changed for those involved.

Let lived experience carry the claim

An authentic customer success story builds its narrative around people's experiences rather than fitting their accounts to a predetermined marketing claim. The Frameworks argues that brands can be creative while remaining faithful to who they are and the people they affect.

For UST, The Frameworks created a film about Nourish + Bloom Market, an autonomous grocery store with robotic delivery in Trilith. Founders Jilea and Jamie Hemmings wanted to bring good food to their community's food desert, inspired by their son, Jabari, who is autistic. UST's technology powered the store, connecting the founders' motivation to the partnership that enabled their ambition.

The film included accounts from local suppliers, employees, UST experts, shoppers and the founders' family, whose involvement Jilea and Jamie suggested. The Frameworks shaped the narrative, then let participants speak in their own words. The practical lesson is to make the customer's motivation, the supplier's contribution and the effects on people visible together. A business's claim of impact becomes more tangible when the people affected can describe their experience themselves.
