Give the tagline one memorable job
A B2B tagline should give audiences a concise, imaginative expression they can recognise and repeat. Its job is not to contain every proposition, priority or keyword. Adding extra ideas can dilute the language and undermine the brand or campaign concept the line is meant to express.
Some of the strongest taglines are only two or three words long. IBM's "THINK" illustrates how brief a slogan can be; a business audience is not a reason to avoid memorable language. Well-chosen words can help a brand become familiar and enter everyday conversation, rather than simply label what the business sells.
When considering a tagline, decide which single idea deserves that emphasis. Protect the expression from additions that make it more comprehensive but less memorable.
