Look for patterns across repeated answers
Test a consistent set of questions your customers might ask across the most-used AI platforms, and record whether and when your brand appears. Keep the responses in a spreadsheet and repeat the exercise regularly so you have a comparable record over time, rather than a collection of isolated screenshots.
Julius Schulte, Malte Bleeker and Philipp Kaufmann (2026) describe AI-search visibility as a distribution across repeated measurements because answers vary across runs, prompts and time. Repeat each question rather than relying on one answer, and compare the resulting pattern of mentions across testing periods. A record of repeated answers gives you a stronger basis for distinguishing sustained visibility changes from normal answer variation.
