Research and insights

Our approach

Good insight starts with a genuine question, not an assumption dressed up as one. We go looking for what’s true about an audience, a market or a business – not what’s convenient to treat as gospel.

AI is changing what that search can look like faster than most methodologies can keep up with. We’re building new ways to use it responsibly as the tools mature. But some things haven’t changed: real conversations with real stakeholders, and real data at scale, still surface things a dashboard never will. We lean on primary research – interviews, workshops, quant surveys, direct engagement – wherever the question calls for it.

The output is a foundation the whole brand can stand on.

Responsible AI Future Foundation

RAIFF needed a brand that could speak credibly to governments and businesses across the Global South, on a topic where trust is everything. We ran stakeholder interviews, collaborative workshops and market analysis, and found the strategic truth underneath the brief – not just deploying AI responsibly, but building AI that reflects a nation’s own culture, laws and priorities. The result won Best Brand Evolution at the Transform Awards EMEA.

Yokogawa

Yokogawa’s Precision Making platform had already taken hold internally – employees called themselves “precision makers.” But as sustainability rose up the agenda, we needed to know whether the idea could stretch to meet it. We ran 24 stakeholder interviews and a global quantitative survey across four markets, alongside competitor and desk research, and found real evidence: customers wanted a partner with their own clear vision on sustainability, and “precision” was already primed to carry that meaning.

Yokogawa Test & Measurement brochures and adverts laid out together, including covers reading Bold ideas. Built on precision. and Greener cities. Built on precision.

The Prompt: The art of AEO: are you part of the conversation?

Answer engine optimisation (AEO) isn’t about gaming AI search or mangling your website to suit machines. It’s about creating an honest, authoritative version of your expertise that an LLM can actually use.
