As B2B specialists, Frameworkers thrive on complex challenges, relishing the prospect of creating authentic connections between brands and their audiences even in sectors requiring nuanced specialist knowledge. In doing so, we help our clients across the globe to solve some of their most important business and communication challenges.
Principal Analyst
James’s original career was in academic research on the psychology of disfigurement, before he moved into political research, forecasting elections for YouGov. He then managed the quantitative services for The Future Laboratory for a couple of years, before pursuing a freelance career in which he has performed brand tracking and competitor analysis with some of the world’s biggest lifestyle and fashion brands. He has a BSc in psychology, an MSc in Anthropology and a PhD in Behavioural Economics.
Partner, HR
Sheri is in charge of making sure everyone’s happy. She takes overall responsibility for the agency's global HR function, ensuring every Frameworker is empowered, motivated and fulfilled in what they do. An experienced Fortune 100 communications and marketing leader, Sheri has spent 30 years in a career almost equally divided between client and agency work. She has held senior marketing roles at IBM and Lanier Worldwide (now part of RICOH), CNN and Coca-Cola and, for the past 14 years, she's been a partner at The Frameworks.
Outside the office, Sheri loves her library, browsing old bookstores and spending time with her children and husband, Terry. There’s a clear link between the passion Sheri has for her family and the personal care she devotes to every member of the agency. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
Junior Designer
We’re lucky to have snared multi-disciplined designer and resident scouser Myles. He has barely paused for breath since graduating with a first in graphic communication, and has been tipped as “one to watch” by industry heavyweights including Burberry and D&AD. His fresh perspective helps him to solve problems through design and he brings a distinctive style to every brief.
An early obsession with album sleeve art inspired Myles to take a creative route. And he’s just as passionate about the contents of those sleeves; he spends his free time building his expansive record collection and can often be found at music festivals.
Partner and General Manager
Since joining The Frameworks in 2004, James has formed valuable, enduring relationships with every client he’s worked with. He's responsible for overseeing our existing major client accounts in Europe and developing new business opportunities. He has built up extensive experience working with high-tech and professional services organisations to deliver award-winning campaigns and content.
When he’s not in the office, James keeps himself busy overseeing a couple of his own projects – his daughters Isla and Rae, who are already showing the same passion for creativity.
Content Strategist
Don offers our clients creative thinking and execution support for their asset, campaign and brand-level projects. As part of our strategy team he researches, analyses and writes about business and ideas as varied as supply-chain and artificial intelligence — sometimes at the same time. With a London/New York media background in markets like luxury, manufacturing, science and art, Don brings a multidisciplinary approach to developing content. He also claims to understand concepts like blockchain.
When he's not at work, Don can be found doing the same thing he does inside the office: reading, writing and exploring the world.
Middleweight Designer
Ash is a designer whose true passion is for animation. She draws on her wealth of experience and creative flair to bring our projects to life, literally. Well, at least digitally.
Ash’s impressive portfolio includes work for Nike and Converse, where she first got a taste for animation. She came to The Frameworks to hone her skills and is now working on adding a 3D animation string to her creative bow.
When she’s not head-down on creative pursuits, Ash can be found filling her mind with inspiration at galleries all over London or getting in some gig action to fuel her love of music.
Account Director
What do banking, Olympic sailing, champagne and guns have in common? No, it’s not the plot of the latest James Bond – it’s Daisy’s CV. Fresh from Steve Edge Design, Daisy brings a wealth of experience helping brands to grow and get attention. With a knack for getting into clients’ heads and talent for keeping several plates spinning at once, Daisy knows just when to challenge the status quo to get the best results.
Daisy is a people person who thrives in the collaborative environment of a design consultancy. Outside work, she unwinds by doing yoga and hanging out with some very special Labradors.
Insights Lead
Ellie takes the lead on research at The Frameworks. She is responsible for delving into our clients’ worlds and discovering the game-changing insights that enable our strategy and creative teams to do what they do best.
Armed with a degree in English Literature from Cambridge – and a master’s from Bristol – Ellie joined us from Which? where she quickly rose to become a senior market analyst. There, Ellie got under the skin of products – and sales descriptions – and uncovered the best and worst of the latest technology.
Outside of the studio, Ellie enjoys reading (voraciously) and listening to techno music (although not at the same time). Ellie is also a keen runner; at the weekend you’ll find her getting the miles in around North West London, and sometimes even racing in a half marathon.
Design intern
Aisling decided she wanted to study design while she was halfway through her history and politics degree at the University of Melbourne. And she hasn’t looked back since.
Aisling loves the power design has to make complex ideas accessible to everyone. She sees design as the universal form of communication and is skilled at turning big ideas into easily understandable visuals. Still passionate about history and politics, she is particularly interested in the intersections between design, gender, feminism and politics.
Aisling loves going to gigs and is excited to explore London’s music scene. She enjoys learning about new things in many different forms, whether that’s reading, going to galleries or meeting new people.
Content Director
As a senior member of our studio team, Louise oversees and delivers engaging content across all our accounts. It’s her job to put a brand's ambition into words, striking the tricky balance between clarity and creativity. Louise takes a considered, analytical approach to every project, drawing out stories that connect with people to deliver meaningful content about even the most technical subjects.
Most of Louise’s ideas come to her while navigating the back streets of south-east London on her red bicycle. She loves travelling and going to gigs, but lately spends more time practising dance routines with her two little girls.
Senior Designer
Born and bred in Nottinghamshire, Ross joined us as a Senior Designer. After studying graphic design at Nottingham Trent University, Ross worked for a close-knit creative agency, which let him hone his craft on a wide variety of projects and fueled his obsession with good design.
Outside of work hours, you’ll find Ross watching football or trying his hand at new skills – guitar, animation or illustration, to name a few. And, as much as he loves to travel, nothing beats his mum’s classic Sunday roast.
Partner, Finance
Sharon joined The Frameworks back in 1994 when the consultancy was still in its infancy. She arrived to help out temporarily, but loved working with us so much she ended up staying. She has held a number of senior accountancy positions in both industry and private practice, and is now responsible for managing all our finances and accounting systems.
When she’s not crunching numbers, Sharon is usually being taken for a ride on Mr Ads, her Highland Pony.
Partner, BD and Digital
Chris is responsible for business development, and draws on his digital background to oversee the technical aspects of our client work.
Chris ensures that our initial strategic work pays off once projects become digital. With an MSc in software engineering and more than 15 years' experience delivering high-profile projects, he makes sure our delivery is seamless.
Chris is a keen footballer and vinyl collector. You may also find him trapped in an escape room with some of his fellow Frameworkers, where his problem solving skills come in handy.
Creative Director, Head of Studio
Since joining The Frameworks fresh out of university with a degree in graphic design, David has gone from Junior Designer to Creative Director and Head of Studio at lightning speed. David oversees all our creative output and is responsible for the core concepts at the heart of many of our clients' brand identities and campaigns.
When he's not marrying cutting-edge UX design with traditional elements like typography and grid systems, David can be found tracking the latest weather patterns (and the latest Apple products).
Operations Director
A native South African, Dale joined The Frameworks in 2013 after living in the UK for a decade. From Head of Production to PM Director to Operations Director, Dale has worn many hats over the years – but ultimately, he's our studio fixer. He makes sure all projects flow as seamlessly as possible and that all Frameworkers have what they need to complete great work.
Family means everything to Dale – whether it's his Frameworker or his biological family. Outside work, Dale enjoys golfing, watching marvel films and cooking new recipes.
Writer and Content Marketing Lead
Experienced in the B2B technology world, Ella joined The Frameworks after several years at a PR agency. As well as writing content for our clients, she works her PR magic for The Frameworks.
Ella studied Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at the University of Oxford and has been hooked on words ever since. Whether breaking down complex concepts, arguing an idea or delivering a message, she loves selecting the best language to get the point across clearly and concisely.
When she’s not at work, Ella loves to travel, swim in freezing water, and read her way through an ever-growing pile of books.
Design Director
A senior member of the design team, Rose plays a key role in generating creative concepts and outputs for all our clients. Her passion for people and telling stories is at the heart of every project, helping businesses and audiences connect and giving a voice to the smallest details (she’s naturally quite particular about the smallest of details of design, too).
A big advocate for side projects, when Rose isn't in the office she can be found illustrating birds and championing kindness and mental health. If she’s not doing that, she’s probably at the cinema.
Partner and Head of Strategy
Ben takes overall responsibility for strategic projects, leading research, analysis and recommendations across a broad range of business and brand challenges. His career began with an engineering and programming degree from Oxford University, where he discovered he preferred wrangling words to building bridges. He has spent the years since in B2B journalism, PR, marketing, copywriting and brand strategy.
Away from the office, Ben is an amateur cryptic crossword compiler and an enthusiastic smoker – mainly of pork, but sometimes beef too. He's also a pretty good bet for restaurant recommendations.
Creative Strategist
Sophie enjoys interrogating problems and finding the balance between what clients think they want – and what they actually need. Before joining The Frameworks, she developed her craft working as a strategist for ad agencies.
Sophie studied English Literature at UCL and is a writer; her first novel is well underway, so watch this space. Her ability to tell stories really puts the creative into creative strategy, and it’s pretty handy for stakeholder management.
When she isn’t working on her novel, Sophie is an avid reader and can often be found catching up on the latest period drama in her spare time.
Senior Account Manager
Starting out in experiential marketing, Margot built her career with beverage brands and real estate brokers before joining The Frameworks. She dials in daily from mountain-happy Jackson Hole, Wyoming - surely our most picturesque outpost to date - where she spends her free time hiking or snowshoeing with her husband.
Margot is a people person who loves the back and forth of agency life; she’s in her element navigating client quirks and project demands. She’s proactive and passionate, dedicated to knowing each brand as intimately as her client does.
Margot believes solid project management is the core of any successful campaign. Perhaps that’s why she has a side hustle planning weddings for anyone who will let her loose with a spreadsheet.
Senior Developer
When Pierrick moved from his native France to London, he threw himself into learning English and soon became interested in the language of code, too.
He went on to make web engineering his career, building up a wealth of experience – both agency-side and in the public sector – before joining The Frameworks as a Senior Web Developer.
Pierrick is an artist with a passion for painting and drawing, and he takes a similarly creative approach to web design. He loves how he can take a blank canvas, apply a design brief and create a useful – and beautiful – web application.
Pierrick balances this creative touch with an organised nature; he makes sure every project he tackles is a job well done.
Lead Developer
Sergio mentors and guides the development team, creating and implementing coding best practices. With experience spanning everything from system administration to front- and back-end development to web design, Sergio brings his passion for web accessibility and responsiveness to every project. Sergio holds a computer science degree from the University of Venice in his native Italy.
Being Italian, it's no surprise that Sergio loves coffee. When he's not enjoying the best espresso in town, Sergio can be found wearing a black belt (not an Italian leather one, but the one he owns in karate).
Junior Digital Designer
Inspired by the rise of online art exhibitions during the pandemic, Poppy undertook a UI, UX and front-end developer course for designers. She’d just graduated from the University of Edinburgh, where she studied History of Art, and found this course the perfect combination of her passion for design and creativity.
Poppy is interested in the power of a good website to be both really user-friendly and creative. She enjoys finding the balance between what a client wants and what is applicable to the user, then creating designs that reimagine traditional structures.
Poppy joined The Frameworks after sailing back to the UK from the Caribbean following the RORC Transatlantic Race. We’re glad she came ashore.
Chairman
Clive is a chartered accountant with many years’ experience building sustainable businesses. His business strategy and finance expertise bring an extra element to our core brand work, drawing important connections between the way people behave and how an organisation performs.
Clive is a board and council member at the Institute of Chartered Accountants. This, alongside his hands-on experience of growing a Top 30 UK accounting firm, gives him unique insight into developments in the business world.
As Chair of Trustees for Turner Contemporary in his home town of Margate and a Deputy Lieutenant for Kent, Clive plays an active role in his local community. And if you get a moment, ask him about his famous stamp collection.
Technical Account Director
Nick manages all things digital at The Frameworks including website and microsite builds, CMS migrations and digital rebrands.
Working with multiple teams from strategy to development, Nick skillfully streamlines the processes that get these projects up and running and out into the world. And he’s always on hand to share digital tips and tricks with fellow Frameworkers.
Nick's not just agile when it comes to managing projects – he's also an avid volleyball player and a determined Spanish student.
CEO
Terry is a graphic designer. After graduating from the London College of Printing, he was hired into IBM by American designer Paul Rand. Initially working alongside the IBM product design team, he moved on to lead the UK communication design programme working with eminent designers Alan Fletcher, David Hillman of Pentagram and Derek Birdsall, with whom he later formed a partnership.
Terry established The Frameworks in 1989, fulfilling his ambition to apply design thinking methodology across cultural, economic and environmental change to address the challenges and opportunities businesses face. IBM has remained a client ever since.
Terry is a fellow of the RSA.
Account Manager
A self-confessed people person, building relationships is what Meg excels at.
Armed with a degree in English and History from the University of Leicester, Meg first specialised in events, running conferences for banks, but soon realised that her talent for engaging with clients set her apart.
Meg has joined The Frameworks with a desire to satisfy her creative streak; in her spare time you’ll find her painting, visiting art galleries or spending nights at the cinema.
When she’s not making the most of the cultural delights London has to offer, Meg likes to relax by reading about social history, cooking up a storm in her Hackney kitchen or chilling out with some Pilates.
Digital Designer
Adrenaline junkie Ian joined us back in 2017 after completing a BA in digital advertising and design at Ravensbourne University. After university, Ian got hands-on experience in digital and graphic design working with high-profile clients at Saatchi & Saatchi, Johannesburg. Having found his passion for digital design, Ian now enjoys the challenge of working in Webflow and building for multiple platforms – and he’s not shy about getting stuck into a bit of coding and UX when the need arises.
When he's not designing at speed, Ian can be found on his motorbike (if you can catch him) or receiving one of his regular daily shots of caffeine.
Account Director
No Frameworker sums up our unique mix of business brains and creative flair better than Mayuri. Originally training as a designer, she made the leap to client services when she realised she could put her talent for building relationships to better use. Before joining us, Mayuri managed the transition of creative services from in-house to outsource for Linklaters, and managed a dedicated internal agency for Slaughter and May.
Her double-edged career trajectory means Mayuri is the perfect person to guide both clients and our studio team through even the thorniest of creative challenges. Outside work, Mayuri likes the simple things in life – brush lettering, raising chickens and hiking to some of the world’s most beautiful spots.
Copywriter and Editor
Charlotte joined The Frameworks from the world of journalism, having written for the likes of the Financial Times, lovemoney.com and i-D Magazine.
After studying languages at the University of Oxford, she knew writing was always going to be at the root of her career. For Charlotte nothing beats the feeling of finding the right combination of words to express the details of a topic clearly, but also make it pop.
Outside of the office, you’ll probably find her hunkered down with a book, watching foreign films, or on the hunt for the perfect oat milk latte.
Located where Shoreditch meets the City, our London HQ is a vibrant hub that's ideally situated for clients and Frameworkers alike.
