Principal, Content and Strategy
Ben takes overall responsibility for the content and strategy team’s output. Basically, he's in charge of the words. His career began with an engineering and programming degree from Oxford University, where he discovered he preferred wrangling words to building bridges. He's spent the 20-odd years since in B2B journalism, PR, marketing, social networking and brand strategy.
Away from the office, his alter ego is Crucifer, an amateur cryptic crossword compiler, and he also professes to be an enthusiastic smoker – mainly of pork, but sometimes beef too. Being The Good Food Guide in human form, Ben is especially useful if any of us is planning a meal out.
