Give one idea room to be remembered
A B2B tagline should give an audience one clear idea to remember, not a compressed list of everything the business offers. Charlotte Irwin argues that adding extra ideas and keywords can dilute copy until the brand or campaign concept breaks. Some of the strongest taglines contain only two or three words; imaginative, memorable language is not reserved for consumer brands.
For the Responsible AI Future Foundation, the brand narrative and verbal identity were built around "AI is what we make it." The line invites action and emphasises empowerment, positioning RAIFF as a partner that accelerates real-world deployment rather than passively observing AI developments.
Use that discipline when judging a proposed tagline: identify the central idea and protect it from competing messages. A business need not keep one tagline forever. A temporary slogan can reflect a changing focus, but it still needs to capture the audience's imagination and be easy to repeat.
