How do we scale AI video for interactive experiences?

Scale AI video for interactive experiences by defining the content structure, connecting generation and processing in a shared production system, then curating the outputs. Together, the three steps turn high-volume generation into a repeatable workflow for producing a coherent, brand-aligned experience, with human judgment directing what reaches the audience.

1. Define the experience and its content structure

Define the experience and its content structure before generating video at scale. Establish how visitors will navigate, how the stories will work and what the brand identity requires. For G42's updated Intelligence Grid, the brief combined a changed structure, a new brand identity and generative AI imagery and video. The experience needed to let visitors explore G42's nine operating companies and their impact across industries. Planning began with navigation and storytelling, followed by a custom content management system to house the experience's structure. The practical starting point is therefore the experience, not the volume of assets: decide what the production system must support before building the generation pipeline. Creative freedom also needs a system that accelerates code and content reliably while maintaining quality.

2. Connect generation to the production system

Connect generation to the production system so editors can move from prompts to candidate videos through a repeatable workflow. For G42's interactive experience, AI coding software helped build the platform underpinning the generative AI pipeline in weeks. AI generation and automated video processing were integrated into the content management system. Editors could suggest prompts, generate multiple images and then animate them, rather than handle generation and processing as separate activities. Once operational, the pipeline could create more than 150 videos in a matter of days. The useful production pattern is to connect editorial input, image generation and animation within a shared system. Gartner's 2025 analysis of generative-AI creative systems notes that substantial initial setup and ongoing oversight are required, while computational expenditure can offset traditional production savings.

3. Curate the generated assets

Curate the generated assets rather than treating every output as ready for the final experience. For G42's Intelligence Grid 2.0, the production pipeline generated AI images, converted them into 3D models and animated them on green screens. Production created thousands of videos, with around 170 curated for the finished experience. That distinction makes generation a pool for selection, not a substitute for creative judgment. Strategists, designers, writers and developers worked together to prototype ideas rapidly, interrogate them, validate them and choose what to use. Apply the same division of responsibility: use AI to expand and accelerate the available options, while a cross-functional team directs the ideas and selects the content. The finished G42 experience launched across six screens at GITEX GLOBAL in Dubai.
