Which sustainability visuals fit our existing brand?

Choose sustainability visuals that build on your existing identity and make the connection between your products, people and sustainable outcomes tangible. Use established colours, product-inspired graphics and photography of the people behind the technology rather than creating an unrelated sustainability style.

Use the business's own visual language

Use the business's own visual language to keep sustainability recognisably connected to its products and expertise. For Yokogawa Test&Measurement, the sustainability mini-identity supported "Built on precision", a narrative connecting its tools, technology and people with sustainable outcomes. The work evolved the existing Precision Making positioning rather than replacing its technical foundation.

The mini-identity gave greater prominence to green already present in the brand guidelines. A grid introduced the idea of building blocks towards progress, while icons and illustrations drew on the digital displays and buttons of Yokogawa T&M's products. Warm, human photography foregrounded the people behind the technology. The practical approach is to find sustainability cues within an established identity and connect them to what the business actually makes and does.

The Competition and Markets Authority's 2026 guidance includes presentation, green logos and imagery within environmental claims, making visual choices part of the claim rather than decoration alone.
