What makes our company portfolio worth exploring online?

Your company portfolio is worth exploring online when it connects your businesses through stories about the real-world outcomes they make possible, rather than offering only a directory of companies. A content structure that can be updated lets the group keep developing those stories.

Connections built around real-world impact

G42's portfolio experience connected technology capabilities to industry outcomes, giving visitors a way to explore its businesses through the impact of their work. At its centre, an "impact algorithm" mapped enablers such as energy, compute, cloud and foundational models to specific industry contexts and solutions across the group. The storytelling focused on the human impact of technological advances, rather than technology alone. Themes called "commitments", including responsible AI, sustainability and equitable AI, anchored the experience in G42's purpose. Messaging across the group was brought into a unified voice. For a company portfolio, the useful principle is to make connections meaningful: show how capabilities contribute to outcomes, while giving visitors a shared narrative through which to understand the businesses.

A story the group can keep developing

G42's portfolio experience was built around a custom content management system that housed its navigation and storytelling structure. The work began by establishing how visitors would move through the experience and how its stories would connect. Building the system from scratch gave the project greater creative freedom, alongside the need to keep AI-assisted code and content reliable and high quality. The Intelligence Grid 2.0 launched across six screens at GITEX GLOBAL in Dubai and continued as a flexible online platform, updated across the G42 group. For a company portfolio, the practical lesson is to plan the content structure alongside the visitor experience, so the group can maintain and develop its stories beyond an initial launch.
