Bring the space's purpose into the experience
Bring the space's purpose into the experience by showing what collaboration there is intended to achieve. IBM Garage was conceived as a co-creation space where IBM experts and client leaders use modern design techniques and IBM technology to solve specific business challenges. The Frameworks built its campaign concept, "Where it happens", around the environment and the transformational work possible inside it.
The Frameworks created an interactive physical book and an in-browser virtual reality experience that brought prospective clients into the IBM Garage environment. The practical lesson is to make the remote introduction about the work the setting enables, not simply its appearance. The Frameworks reports that the IBM Garage work helped generate $62 million in lead progression within five months.
In 2025, the Global Association of Customer Engagement Professionals described award-recognised technology briefing programmes that combine adaptable digital media with expert discussions and use hybrid collaboration technology to include remote participants. A virtual environment can therefore be part of a wider introduction that also gives prospects access to expert discussion.
